General coaching principle
It is a creative process between a coach and a client, where suggestions are initiated and the client canfully embrace their potential – personal or workwise. . This makes coaching an effective management development tool, that leads to changes in behavior and acting of an individual or a team who are then lead to higher effectiveness and performance.
Coaching is a dialogue between a coach and a client, where the coach uses structured questions to:
- Support the reflexion of the situation;
- Allows the client to view the situation from a different angle;
- Supports the clients confidence in their own ability to solve a particular issue.
The uniqueness of coaching as a tool of management development is in:
- Focus on current needs of the manager;
- Focus on direct application into daily practice;
- Application of agreed changes into practice on an easily measurable basis;
- Support of complex development of a manager’s personality;
- Providing the space for working with topics, that cannot be dicussed in front of colleagues;
- Partnership between the coach and client.
What is the structure of my coaching:
- Step 1
- Entrance interview with the client / contracting authority, defining areas and targets of the coaching
Or: Analysing the results of diagnostic tools, which were implemented into the preparation phase. / Suggesting the individual development based on diagnostics results and the entrance interview
- Step 2
- Regular follow-up coachings (60 – 90 min.) with the client (approx. 5-6 coaching sessions based on the content and extent of the problem).
- Step 3
- The period between sessions is dedicated to reflexion and implementationof set steps or other tasks.

It is a creative process between a coach and the team, where suggestions are initiated and lead to changes in behavior and proaches of an individual or a team. The coach works with the whole group together or with individual members of the team.
Team coaching is systematic and topic oriented work of a coach and a team, in this case a team or and individual, where the coach uses structured questions to:
- Support reflexion of the situation;
- Allow individual members of the team view the situation from different angle;
- Support trust, creativity and will to solve issues.
The uniqueness of team coaching lies in:
- Focusing on the current team needs;
- Focusing on direct implementation into practice;
- Application of agreed changes into practice on an easily measurable basis;
- Supporting directed constructive discussion within the team;
- Providing enough space for working with the topics, that “there’s never time for”;
- Approach of the coach towards the team based on mutual trust
What is the structure of team coaching:
- Step 1
- Entry interview with the contracting authority defining the areas and targets of coaching
Or: analyzing results of team diagnostic tools, which were implemented into the preparation.
- Step 2
- Regular follow-up team coachings focusing on team development and team topics (content and extent is defined upon the entry interview with the contracting authority)
- Step 3
- In the period between the coaching sessions the group is encouraged to work on reflexion, implementation of set steps or on set tasks.
