THERAPY
Form: face-to-face or online
General therapy principle
Do you feel uncomfortable in your life? Do you feel lonely? Are there issues in your life that seem to be impossible for you to manage? Do you experience physical issues that the doctors estimate to possibly come from psychological matters? If the answer was “yes” even once, you might want to consider therapy. What is psychotherapy good for? What happens once you are in therapy? How could it be of help to you? How does it come that it can change your life for good?
As a therapist I work on topics that you as a client bring into the sessions. For me, an essential part of the therapy is the therapeutic process and your adapting of techniques, which you can easily use in your everyday life. Together we shall discover patterns, that cause trouble to you and will try to (re)move them in a positive way.
Frequent topics I work with:
- Life change – new orientation in life or work, burn-out
- Relationship crisis – looking for one’s own identity
- Hard life situation – break up, loosing job, failure and other
- Low self-esteem,
- Depression, feeling hopeless, suppressing oneself.
What is the structure of my therapy:
First meeting:
We get to know each other during the first meeting and we clarify the expectations from the session and from the therapy itself for both sides. Safe atmosphere needs to be created since the first moments of our meeting, so that the person, who comes wants to describe their struggles, expectations and maybe even experience from previous therapy. Therapeutic hour lasts 50 minutes.
Regular follow up meetings
The frequency of meetings is agreed on mutualy. Each session takes 50 minutes.
The length of the therapy and its extent depends on the topics and your personal setting.
In the period between sessions the client is encouraged to adopt the techniques that are usable and reasonable for their life.
